Vianense Collection inspired by Viana embroidery

Women dream, jewellery is born!

After our Audaçias collection, inspired by the purity and authenticity of “Lenços de Namorados do Minho” (Sweetheart Handkerchiefs), comes the Vianense collection.

Typical Vianense embroidery, whose most commons motifs are the camellia, the heart, the heart-flowers, the clover, flowers, the carnation, marias and stars, among others, was our starting point for creating beautiful pieces of jewellery.  Between simple lines and surprising shapes, incredible details and noble materials, each piece of jewellery is individually created, thoroughly, with time and passion.

Viana do Castelo’s traditional embroidery has its origin in the know-how of rural women who turned into an economic activity in the early twentieth century. Get to know the whole story here.

Each piece of jewellery has a name that is inspired by the legend behind the city’s own name: the story of the boatman who falls in love with Ana and who often repeated:  I saw (Vi) Ana (ViAna)”. And because there are so many passions, we also have ViAurora, ViAmélia and many more to come.
